Just a quick note for you all this morning. For starters if you are not familiar with Arthur Allen let's make one thing clear right off the bat-he is no hack. He has a track record of being fair and getting both sides and siding with ground truth science in his journalistic deliberations.
In case you missed it, this morning the foodies over at the Washington Post posted this blog about "Spanish mackerel" that missed the mark and we let the editors know exactly where it went wrong. Interestingly the writer wrote back and let us know that she needed to do some more research and would get back to us-- interesting, perhaps that research should have been done before publishing.
